The 4100-6077AU MX Digital Loop Card (Figure 1) is a flat, 4×10-inch form-factor module that plugs into the Power Distribution Interface (PDI) of the 4100ESi panel. An earlier version of the card was supplied as 4100-6077LIM, which included an extra bracket on which two LIM800 Loop Isolators were mounted and wired. This version of hardware has been withdrawn, as the 4100-6077AU now includes loop short circuit protection.

For AS1603.4 F4000 panels, the 5A FP0882K replaces FP0474. It has the battery test resistors required by AS1603.4. Both supplies feature a 3 pin GPO, replacing the metal mains cover & panel mount mains switch.

The analogue loop interface also allows outputs to be sent to those devices that support them, to initiate MX device tests,activate relays.

It has a touch screen backlit colour LCD and four ‘softkeys’, ESC, OK, Up and Down. Power for the 850EMT is derived from 6 AA size NiMH rechargeable batteries. It may be run from an unregulated +12Vdc input i.e., car power outlet or 110/230VAC mains adaptor, both of which will recharge the batteries as well.

The VIGILANT MX1 is an innovative, networkable, multi-loop analogue addressable fire indicator panel incorporating the latest technology and complying with the ISO-based AS 7240.2-2004 standard and including an integrated Fire Brigade Panel to AS 4428.3-2004.

Its support for Tyco MX TECHNOLOGY, fuzzy-logic detection algorithms and powerful control functions make it suitable for a wide range of fire detection applications including those in hazardous areas.

Our VIGILANT® MX1 fire panels can be used to provide cost effective solutions for small to medium fire detection systems, whilst also providing many of the features and functions required for very large industrial and multi-building sites.
