Maintenance tags are a requirement of AS1851:2012 and are used to define the date that the fire equipment first came into service and also what month the services have been carried out in. The maintenance service tag can be marked either by punching numbers or a hole.

The maintenance service tag is usually attached to the fire equipment using a metal split ring.

This maintenance service tag punch is used to punch maintenance service tags in accordance with AS1851:2012. It is used to define the date that the fire equipment first came into service and also what month the services have been carried out in. This punch can punch holes or numbers via its indexable head.

This high quality 1m x 1m fire blanket is ideal for home or small kitchen use. The fire blanket is fixed using a simple single fixing such as a hook or screw.

When to use
– SMALL Class F fires – Cooking oils and fats

Where to use
Ideal for use in the home, kitchen, car, caravan, or boat.

Where not to use
Due to the 1m x 1m fire blanket being the smallest in our range, it is only suitable for small fires, such as small pan fires in kitchens. It is generally too small to use for clothing fires.

This high quality 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is ideal for home or small kitchen use. The fire blanket is fixed using 2 simple fixings such as hooks or screws.

When to use
– SMALL Class F fires – Cooking oils and fats

Where to use
Ideal for use in the home, kitchen, car, caravan, or boat.

Fire blankets are ideal in a kitchen area where hot items are working constantly. It is a requirement of AS2444 that fire blankets are in place in kitchen areas. Fire blankets may also be required in hot work area’s such as welding and fabrication workshops etc where the possibility of a clothing fire is high.

Where not to use
Due to its size the 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is more suited for small fires, such as small pan fires in kitchens. Although it will be useful in the case of a clothing fire, a larger fire blanket such as our 1.2m x 1.8m or 1.8m x 1.8m fire blankets would be recommended.

The anti tamper seal or security tie is most commonly used to secure the safety pin to a fire extinguisher and easily identifies use / misuse.

Security ties can also be used to secure hose reel nozzles and also secure any other item of fire equipment that may be used or misused.

These Anti Tamper seals are Yellow in colour and 230mm (9″) in length.

The maintenance tag ring is of a split ring type and is made from steel.

Fire Extinguisher Location Sign 150mm x 225mm Right Angle

Fire extinguisher location signs are a requirement of AS2444:2001 and are required to identify the location of any fire extinguisher. This sign has an angled section that can be fixed to a wall and allows easy location of a fire extinguisher in an area such as a corridor where the fire extinguisher has been placed in a recess and is not immediately obvious. The sign is printed on both sides.

The sign must be mounted such that it is no less than 2 metres from the floor level or at a height that makes it the most apparent to a person of average height and visual acuity.
