This high quality 1m x 1m fire blanket is ideal for home or small kitchen use. The fire blanket is fixed using a simple single fixing such as a hook or screw.

When to use
– SMALL Class F fires – Cooking oils and fats

Where to use
Ideal for use in the home, kitchen, car, caravan, or boat.

Where not to use
Due to the 1m x 1m fire blanket being the smallest in our range, it is only suitable for small fires, such as small pan fires in kitchens. It is generally too small to use for clothing fires.

This high quality 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is ideal for home or small kitchen use. The fire blanket is fixed using 2 simple fixings such as hooks or screws.

When to use
– SMALL Class F fires – Cooking oils and fats

Where to use
Ideal for use in the home, kitchen, car, caravan, or boat.

Fire blankets are ideal in a kitchen area where hot items are working constantly. It is a requirement of AS2444 that fire blankets are in place in kitchen areas. Fire blankets may also be required in hot work area’s such as welding and fabrication workshops etc where the possibility of a clothing fire is high.

Where not to use
Due to its size the 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is more suited for small fires, such as small pan fires in kitchens. Although it will be useful in the case of a clothing fire, a larger fire blanket such as our 1.2m x 1.8m or 1.8m x 1.8m fire blankets would be recommended.

This fire blanket location sign is a requirement of AS2444:2001 and is required to identify the location of any fire blanket.

The sign must be mounted such that it is no less than 2 metres from the floor level or at a height that makes it the most apparent to a person of average height and visual acuity.

Fire blanket location signs are a requirement of AS2444:2001 and are required to identify the location of any fire blanket. This sign has an angled section that can be fixed to a wall and allows easy location of a fire blanket in an area such as a kitchen where the fire blanket has been placed in a recess and is not immediately obvious. The sign is printed on both sides.

The sign must be mounted such that it is no less than 2 metres from the floor level or at a height that makes it the most apparent to a person of average height and visual acuity.
