Storz couplings are a quick connect coupling which requires only one third of a turn for full connection. The Storz coupling is hermaphroditic – couplings at either end of the union are identical and can be joined to any other Storz coupling of that size. Couplings are made in Aluminium Alloy. Sizing of Storz couplings can be identified by the lug spacing. This is the distance between the inside surfaces of the two lugs.
