This high quality 1.8m x 1.8m fire blanket is the largest size available. It is ideal for commercial kitchen and workshop use. The fire blanket is fixed using 2 simple fixings such as hooks or screws.

When to use
– Class F fires – Cooking oils and fats
– Clothing fires

Where to use
Ideal for use in commercial kitchens and industrial workshops. This large fire blanket is able to deal well with clothing fires.

Fire blankets are ideal in a kitchen area where hot items are working constantly. It is a requirement of AS2444 that fire blankets are in place in kitchen areas. Fire blankets may also be required in hot work area’s such as welding and fabrication workshops etc where the possibility of a clothing fire is high.

Where not to use
Due to its size the 1.8m x 1.8m fire blanket is more suited for medium to large sized fires, such as fryer fires in kitchens and clothing fires. In domestic kitchen environments the smaller 1m x 1m and 1.2m x 1.2m blankets are sufficient.
