The cables have a reduced outside diameter which allows 2 cables to fit within a single conduit providing ease of installation. The cable’s 7 stranded copper conductors and firm insulation material also allows for neat placement on cable trays and allows ease of stripping and termination.

The cables have been independently tested and approved by Evoxa / Warrington Fire to AS/NZS 3013 for both fire and mechanical properties. They have also been certified to electrical standard AS 5000.2 and communication / wiring standard AS/ACIF S008.

It is a requirement of AS/NZS 1670.1, 1670.4, 1668.1 & 4214 that cables be approved to AS/NZS 3013 and AS/ACIF S008.

In addition to the basic flat design, a white stripe cable is available to distinguish between speaker and detection circuits. Twisted cable is ideal for the connection of addressable fire panels to detectors and devices. The twisted screen version is ideal for VESDA networks and other communication networks.
